So for those who don’t know, I was on Molyneux’s podcast recently to talk about the crew change crisis. 300,000 seafarers are stuck at sea, unable to get home due to Covid-19 lockdowns.
I am writing now near the end of September. Many of these guys have been stuck at work since February.
I was sending news articles to Stefan Molyneux for some time, in the hope that he would cover the story, which is being called the greatest humanitarian crisis in modern times by the IMO.
To my surprise, the dude just called me up and said ‘do you want to come on the show and talk about this?’. So, here it is:
Of course, this being the year 2020, the comment I received most is ‘Molyneux is a racist’.
The fact that we spent 1 hour expressing concern over the wellbeing of Indian and Filipino Seafarers seems to have been lost on those people. 🙂
